In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine cult.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
